Raymond Rath

Born and raised in Medicine Hat, Raymond Rath is a trusted local family man. His understanding and involvement in the community has enabled him to represent its residents and their interests. 

After graduating from the University of Alberta in May 1995, Raymond returned home to article in Medicine Hat. He has been practicing law since the completion of his articling year in 1996, which has provided him with in-depth knowledge and experience in the field. While his focus is on family law, Raymond also practices in areas of civil litigation, real estate, corporate law, life planning (wills, personal directives, and powers of attorney), and estate administration.

Raymond works with his clients to identify what is important to them in each of their distinct situations and circumstances. He provides direct, comprehensive legal advice and strongly advocates for his client’s interests. Raymond has extensive experience in the Courtroom and has argued at all levels of Court in Alberta, including the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench, and the Court of Appeal. He is well-known in the community for his dedication and passion for his career. 

Outside of his work, Raymond enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with his children and their activities.
